As Disability Pride Month comes to a close, we wanted to remind everyone that no disability experience is the same.
Every person with a disability has their own gifts, challenges and dreams.
Every parent, caregiver, sibling, and advocate has their own personal successes, roadblocks, twists & turns, challenges and victories.
Every single one of these stories is special, so let's share them all AND listen to them all. Each one has value and worth, so let's lift each other up and listen closely because every family's experience matters.
At 🩷Precious Kreations, we have a story that's shaped us into who we are today.
It's story of one little girl named Precious who came into our lives and changed us forever. Through her story, we received unimaginable blessings . . . meeting so many amazing families, and seeing lives change before our eyes.
Precious has inspired our family in ways we never could have imagined. At the same time, we realize there are countless numbers of other amazing stories that we believe should be shared too. Precious is our motivation. Her journey has become the heartbeat of our mission, but it is only one story among many.
So many unique and beautiful stories come from a place of love. We believe every single family and individual should be able to share their story, no matter where you are on your journey. Part of what our organization does is give you tools and resources to do exactly that!
Whether you're new to this road or you've been traveling down this path for years, we encourage you to share your experience.
As Disability Pride Month ends, our commitment will continue.
We will continue to celebrate everyone who makes a difference in the lives of those with disabilities. We will continue to share stories, spark conversations, and give you a safe place to belong. 🫂
But most importantly we will continue to listen and learn.
Month after month, year after year, Precious Kreations, Inc. will continue to bring awareness and hope to families around the globe.
Next month we'll have the joy and honor of celebrating the amazing woman who started it all. 🎂 As we celebrate our Founder Olantha L. Scott's birthday month, we'll share more about her story and journey.
We hope you will keep sharing your blessings, trials, challenges, and victories with us. We will help highlight them and build community around them. So, until next month, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your story, and helping us continue to spread hope and light into the world.
